2010 OGALLA Annual Dinner at the Hotel Monaco
Saturday, October 16, 2010, 6 p.m.
Annual Dinner and Silent Auction

The Oregon LGBT Bar Association is proud to host its annual dinner on October 16, 2010 at the Hotel Monaco, featuring catering by Red Star Tavern & Roast House. The dinner includes a silent auction benefiting the Bill & Ann Shepherd Scholarship. The event also features a nationally recognized speaker working on the front lines of the effort for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality. This year we are proud to host Brad Sears, executive director of the Williams Institute and lecturer on disability and sexual orientation law at the UCLA School of Law. The work of Mr. Sears and the Williams Institute featured prominently in Perry v. Schwarzenegger, the currently pending case to overturn California's Proposition 8. Additionally, the Institute is working on the cutting edge of demographic research on HIV/AIDS, LGBT poverty and discrimination. We will also honor longtime community advocate and supporter, Mark M. Williams.

You may purchase your table using our secure online service or by mail.  We are proud to offer three entree choices this year: a wood grilled Cascade Natural 10oz New York steak; a seasonal fish; and a chanterelle tart with ricotta and smoked tofu. When purchasing your tickets, please let us know which entree you would prefer.  If your preferences change, please email Chris Wright at chris@christopherdwrightpc.com at least 72 hours prior to the dinner.  If you wish to purchase your tickets by mail, please send a check made out to OGALLA and your entree selection to
